Research on the Electrical-Coupling Induced Effects in Cobweb-Like Disk Resonant Sigma-Delta Gyroscope

This paper analyzes the effects of electromagnetic interference on the sigma-delta system of Cobweb-Like Disk Resonator Gyroscope (CDRG), and designs a solution based on Electromechanical Amplitude Modulation (EAM) and self-clocking synchronization technology, which analyzes the effectiveness of EAM and self-clocking mechanisms for sigma-delta control loops. It completes the noise and nonlinearity model for the CDRG sensitive loop, including residual electromagnetic interference noise and carrier modulation noise, and concludes that the frequency difference between the analog EAM circuit and the digital loop filter has a great impact on system performance, and proposes a digital-analog synchronization technology domains as a supplementary noise suppression solution. According to the gyroscope control system test, a range of 130°/<tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$s$</tex>, a bias instability of 0.6 °/h, and a noise density of 1.56 °/s/√Hz were obtained.
