Evaluation Method for Electric Vehicle Load Peak Shaving Capability Considering Power System Demand
This paper proposes a method for evaluating the capacity of electric vehicles to participate in power system peak shaving, addressing the actual demand for peak shaving in the power system. Firstly, a structured analysis on the regulation capability of electric vehicles in different vehicle models and charging scenarios is conducted to determine the boundaries of capacity and power that can participate in peak shaving. Then, considering the characteristics of the net load peak curve, a practical capacity evaluation method for participating in system peak shaving through flexible adjustment of charging and discharging power is proposed. The method proposed in this paper can be used for the structured evaluation and prediction of the flexible regulation scale of electric vehicles in regional power grids, and correspondingly optimize the power dispatch plan to serve the economic and efficient operation of the power system.
