Research on Methodology for Selecting Typical Operation Modes of Power Systems with High Proportion of Renewable Energy
The increasing integration of renewable energy and power electronic devices in the power system has altered its operational characteristics, posing new challenges for stability and planning. Traditional analysis methods are becoming inadequate. To explore power system operational modes and their patterns under high renewable energy integration, this paper propose a method based on K-means cluster algorithm to identify typical operation scenarios modes within power systems. This methodology is validated through a comprehensive case study conducted on a Chinese provincial power grid.
