Abstract

This research paper offers a detailed description of a dual-port, multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) microwave filter for optimal performance in 5G applications. The design of the filter occupies about 46×46 mm2, that blends a diamond- shaped patch with a V-shaped resonator with a 45° rotated straight line slot. This geometric serves to enhance the overall functionality and efficiency of the band-pass microwave filter. The substrate used is FR-4 lossy dielectric substrate which provides a balance of performance and affordability. Utilizing copper as a radiating material. The Operating frequency is 3.3 GHz, which falls within Sub 6 GHz band. The proposed filter acts best for integration into 5G communication systems.
