Design and Implementation of a ZigBee-Based WSN for IoT Integration and Monitoring via Ubidots Platform
This is because ZigBee protocol provides self-contained, low power consumption along with reliable transmission and further capability of plugging in a large number of nodes thus augmenting it relevant for use in IoT based WSNs. The system design employs Principal Component Analysis (PCA) as an enhanced technique of dimensionality for high-quality sensor data analysis. Application of the Normalization technique amongst the outcome data is done to bring the outcome to the best format for removing contrast in data pointed by different sensors. A Random Forest classifier is designed to be used in a real time situation in order to avoid misinterpretation of the data and subsequent wrong decisions. It can also be concluded from the experimental results that the proposed system can be adopted for supporting the efficient, scalable and reliable management of the smart monitoring systems operating on IoT technologies.
