Feasibility of Constructing A High Performance Virtual IMU Using Low-Cost IMUs

This paper extends the gyro bias self-calibration approach in [1] to the case of IMUs, with the goal of developing a high-performance and fault-tolerant “virtual IMU” (vIMU) using multiple low-cost IMUs via mechanical switching.
