Design and Simulation Verification of a Shared Mobile Charging System for Electric Vehicles

Amidst global emphasis on environmental protection and sustainable development, electric vehicles (EVs) are rapidly gaining market penetration as a critical means of reducing carbon emissions. However, the widespread adoption of EVs faces dual challenges: charging accessibility and safety. This paper introduces a mobile charging system tailored for EVs, integrating five core subsystems: user interface, mobility, positioning, charging, and control. Leveraging innovations such as “one-pile multi-vehicle” technology, 24/7 reservation capability, smart start-stop functionality, and autonomous charging, the system aims to resolve EV charging dilemmas, enhance infrastructure utilization efficiency, and ensure charging safety. The simulation verification results show that this scheme can improve charging efficiency, reduce investment costs, and lower accident rates.
