IoT-Driven Strategy for Mitigating Wildlife Threats to Agricultural Productivity
Agriculture face a serious problem with poultry and livestock frequently intruding into their fields, which damages crops and costs them money. This endeavor offers a computerized Arduino-based network that uses ultrasonic detection devices to identify wildlife and birds, high-voltage alerts to discourage them, and a module that uses GSM to notify the homeowner if the trespass continues. By monitoring rebounded echoes, the sensors can detect incursions and emit a loud noise that deters wildlife with endangering them. The system uses the GSM chip to send an updated text message to the proprietor so they can take precautions if the person entering stays inside the perimeter for a predetermined amount of time. This method offers an ethical, economical, and energy-efficient way to safeguard crops. Made to be conveniently structure is transportable and extensible, and it is capable of to be further improved with camera components for greater oversight and incorporation with sun generation. The objective of the initiative is to minimize losses in crops and give landowners the latest techniques for effective handling of land in order to promote ethical farming.
