Research on Cuk Converter Based on Double Closed-loop Sliding Mode and PID Control

In this paper, a Cuk converter control strategy based on double closed-loop sliding mode control (SMC) and PID control is proposed to improve the stability and robustness of output voltage and current. With the continuous improvement of power quality and control accuracy requirements in the field of power electronics, the traditional control method is difficult to meet the increasingly complex control requirements. Therefore, this paper combines the advantages of sliding mode control and PID control to design a double closed loop control structure of voltage outer loop and current inner loop, in which sliding mode control can enhance the anti-interference ability of the system, PID control can optimize the voltage regulation performance. The simulation results and experiments show that under different input voltage and load conditions, the designed double closedloop control system can make the Cuk converter quickly adjust the voltage and stably reach the desired output voltage, and its steady-state error is low, the voltage and current fluctuation is small, and it can quickly recover the steady state and robustness in the face of external disturbance. This control strategy greatly improves the performance of Cuk converter. It can be widely used in more fields, especially in electric vehicles, power management and photovoltaic inverters that need accurate voltage control.
