Energy Efficiency Improved Grey Wolf Optimization Algorithm in Software-Defined Vehicular AdHoc Networks
EIGWO model enhances data transmission in VANETs using Gray wolf behavior. It identifies optimal paths and iteratively refines them to enhance network performance. By incorporating 5G technology and Software-Defined Networking (SDN), a hierarchical network architecture is proposed, improving vehicle communication structures. An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)-based energy consumption model for Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is introduced to minimize energy consumption through efficient data collection. EIGWO outperforms existing methods, showing higher data success rate, throughput, and lower routing load, data loss rate, and average delay. EIGWO enhances reliability, efficiency, and scalability of VANETs in transportation.
