Accentia: a Bilingual Voice Intelligence Companion for Android
This paper proposes a system named ACCENTIAA bilingual voice intelligence companion for Android devices, which seeks to furnish completely redefined mobile voice assistance in complementing state-of-the-art natural language processing, speech recognition, and contextual awareness. Accentia, however, can also know the definition and interpretation of bilingual languages in the same sentence, making it very user-friendly to any bilingual users and thus enhancing both productivity and accessibility. The increasing use of artificial intelligence tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Bing for accomplishing complex tasks further leads to an increased need for an AI-powered bilingual voice assistant that provides all-inclusive voice support. Our development of this app will thus integrate Gemini API's AI-powered language model with voice assistance capability. Accentia leads the competition in terms of what current voice assistants can do in bilingual speech recognition and task execution, achieving an incredible accuracy of 79-84%. This instant gliding feature from one language to the other, adapting to different linguistic backgrounds and even responding to complex voice commands is a revolutionary game changer. It allows performing several types of tasks, such as opening applications, writing emails, setting reminders, telling jokes, or simply finding out the time, all under various dialects of voice commands. The audio input is text converted, processed by the Gemini API to execute commands, and once done, a voice message response is delivered. Using Python and open-source libraries and APIs, the development of the system will be accomplished.
