Smart Gas Stove with Enhanced Gas Leakage Monitoring System
Home gas stoves have great safety concerns such as leakage leading to fires, explosions, and health issues. There is also inefficient consumption of gas leading to energy loss and increased costs. This project suggests the implementation of an IoT-based system that increases both efficiency and safety. The system involves combining an MQ-6 gas sensor and an ESP8266 microcontroller to measure leakage and consumption. When a leak is detected, the solenoid valve will automatically cut off the gas supply, and real-time notifications are delivered to users through a special mobile app. In contrast to conventional safety systems, this solution provides round-the-clock monitoring, remote alerts, and energy monitoring. Its innovation is in the harmonious integration of IoT, automation, and real-time data analytics to enhance home safety and energy efficiency. The solution increases user convenience, minimizes wastage of gas, and avoids possible catastrophes. Future evolution will integrate AI-powered predictive analytics and smart home support, further evolving intelligent safety solutions.
