Working Examples Concerning Ways to Arrive at the Antipodes

This paper proposes a series of working exercises to learn mechanics within a general course of physics. It aims to develop one of the Cavendisch collection of problems in classical physics. These working examples show at the undergraduate level how physical models can be applied in a practice. Students can follow the proposed topic at increasing levels of sophistication as their experience grows.
