Behind the Books: Global Insights from Law Librarians
Abstract I am a librarian and currently serve as General Coordinator of the nine university libraries at the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (hereinafter “UPM”) in São Paulo, Brazil. Linked to the University Rectory, these libraries, across three campuses, provide informational support for all courses offered by the university and are organized according to the major areas of knowledge: engineering, computer science, and information technology; languages, linguistics, and literature; economics, administration, and accounting; health sciences and medicine; and architecture, design, and communication. The theology and law libraries are the only ones that work exclusively in their respective areas.
