Evaluasi Kualitatif Dan Kuantitatif Penggunaan Antibiotik Pada Pasien Pneumonia Rawat Inap di RSPAD Gatot Soebroto Periode Januari 2021-Desember 2022
Pneumonia is a disease with inflammation of the lung parenchyma by microorganisms, chemicals, radiation, drugs and others. The high prevalence of infectious diseases in Indonesia is due to the widespread and inappropriate use of antibiotics. One of the indicators of quality and antimicrobial resistance control programs in hospitals is the evaluation of antibiotic use qualitatively and quantitatively. This study aims to evaluate the use of antibiotics in hospitalized pneumonia patients at RSPAD Gatot Soebroto based on qualitative (Gyssens) and quantitative (ATC/DDD & DU 90%) methods for the period January 2021-December 2022 and the relationship between rationality and length of stay. The study design was cross-sectional and data collection was retrospective, namely medical records from January 2021 to December 2022. The population was all medical records of pneumonia patients who were hospitalized in January 2021-December 2022. The sample used in the study was data from the period January 2021 - December 2022 that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Bivariate data analysis using chi square. The results of the study obtained an analysis of the relationship between the rationality of antibiotic use in pneumonia patients and the length of hospitalization in 2021, namely p = 0.001 and in 2022, namely p = 0.016, meaning that there is a relationship between the rationality of antibiotic use in pneumonia patients and the length of hospitalization in the period January 2021-December 2022.
