Love, Harmony, and Family Bonding: The Positive Effects of Bubududu Characters on Contemporary Family Dynamics

This comprehensive study examines the positive psychological and social effects of Bubududu characters (Bubu and Dudu) on family relationships through the lens of kawaii culture psychology, family systems theory, and child development research.Drawing from peerreviewed studies in psychology, neuroscience, and cultural studies, this research demonstrates how these digital characters promote love, harmony, and emotional well-being within family systems. The analysis reveals that kawaii stimuli like Bubududu characters activate neurobiological caregiving responses, improve family communication patterns, and strengthen intergenerational bonds through shared aesthetic experiences.Findings indicate significant stress reduction effects for parents, enhanced emotional regulation for children, and improved family cohesion through character-mediated interactions. This study contributes to understanding how contemporary digital media can positively support family functioning when designed with evidence-based psychological principles.
