NATURAL PROCESSES OF WATER SELF- PURIFICATION: INNOVATIVE APPROACHES AND APPLICATION IN SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF WATER RESOURCES
This paper examines natural self-purification processes in water systems and their significant contribution to sustainable water resource management. It investigates the physical, chemical, and biological mechanisms that improve water quality, as well as the factors influencing their efficiency. The study highlights innovative approaches for monitoring and enhancing these processes using modern technologies, with a special focus on the challenges of protecting aquatic ecosystems from anthropogenic impacts. A review of global literature indicates the need for integrating natural solutions into water resource management, thereby opening new perspectives for preserving water quality and enhancing ecological balance.
