Цагаан Салаа-Бага Ойгорын хадны зураг дахь нарийн зураасан зураг
This article examines the carved petroglyphs located at the Tsagaan Salaa-Baga Oigor site in the western part of the Mongol Altai, within the territory of Ulaankhus soum, Bayan-Ölgii province. The study presents a comparative analysis of the stylistic characteristics, carving techniques, thematic elements, and chronological context of the petroglyphs found at the site. A total of 78 petroglyphs, featuring common motifs such as deer, anthropomorphic figures, and carriages, were documented. Among them are several newly identified images. Stylistic and contextual evaluations suggest that the petroglyphs date from the Bronze Age through to the Turkic period.
