The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Computer Science Applications

Artificial intelligence (AI) has been a massive game-changer when it comes to computer science helping to do innovation in the areas of cybersecurity, cloud computing, software development, and the Internet of Things. This paper examines how AI can benefit in these contexts, showing a multitude of applications,the use cases involved under different characteristics such as pattern recognition (analysis), data management, and code classification. Using a combination of our own contributions and references throughout, the paper attempts to provide an expansive view of what AI is doing in modern computing today, but also challenges it faces and potential outcomes.
