SPECIFICITY OF LONG-TERM DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN MODERN SOCIETY

The article examines the relationship between digitalization processes and sustainable spatial development of Russian territories. It is noted that digital transformation is becoming not only a tool for improving management efficiency, but also a system-forming factor in sustainable growth. The article reveals the possibilities of using digital solutions in the field of territorial planning, urban environment management and ensuring environmental, social and economic sustainability. Particular attention is paid to the concept of “smart home” as an element of the digital environment that promotes energy efficiency, security and improving the quality of life of the population. The key indicators of the development of the “smart home” market in Russia are presented and the drivers and barriers to its growth are highlighted. The importance of integrating digital technologies at the design stages of new residential areas is emphasized, including BIM modeling, sensor systems, digital housing and communal services platforms and elements of smart urban infrastructure. The author concludes that digitalization creates conditions for the formation of a sustainable living environment focused on people and nature, and should become an integral part of strategic spatial planning, especially in the context of the implementation of national and international sustainable development programs.
