CHALLENGES OF THE CURRENT MODEL FOR INSURING CORPORATE TAXI FLEETS

Corporate taxi fleets represent a complex and insufficiently formalized insurance object, characterized by high operational intensity, structural heterogeneity, and unstable internal management. The purpose of this article is to identify key deficiencies in the current model of insuring corporate taxi fleets and to outline directions for its improvement. The methodological basis includes structural-functional analysis, problem-oriented modeling, secondary analysis of statistical and regulatory data, and the author’s INFO-model, which systematizes institutional, operational, financial-actuarial, and external problems. The article presents and classifies current models of taxi fleet insurance (frequency–severity, GLM, behavioral and telematics- based models, portfolio approaches), evaluating their applicability to the corporate segment. Based on the INFO-model, a set of recommendations is proposed, including the development of a unified digital infrastructure, mandatory telematics, personalized tariff models, and flexible adaptation to macroeconomic conditions. The results can be used by insurance companies in designing corporate insurance programs, actuarial tools, and loss assessment systems tailored to the taxi sector.
