Comparison of Laparoscopic and Open Partial Nephrectomy in Early-Stage Kidney Masses
What's known on the subject? and What does the study add?Partial nephrectomy is preferred in early-stage renal tumors because it provides oncological outcomes similar to radical surgery while preserving kidney function. In this study, we aimed to demonstrate the impact of the choice between open and laparoscopic surgery on perioperative and postoperative parameters, as well as long-term effects, in partial nephrectomy procedures performed in our clinic.
