Design and computational optimization of a laser communication adaptive optics wavefront processor based on ARM architecture

The adaptive optics wavefront processor is essential in laser communication, enabling real-time correction of wavefront distortions to improve signal quality. With increasing demand for miniaturized, low-power, high-speed processors in mobile platforms, this study designs and optimizes a wavefront processor based on ARM architecture. The research leverages ARM's low-power and computational efficiency advantages to enhance wavefront computation speed. Experimental results show that the processor achieves optimal miniaturization and power efficiency, with processing speed comparable to FPGA-based systems, demonstrating its potential for practical use in laser communication adaptive optics.
