THE METAPHYSICS OF PATRIOTISM AS THE UNCONDITIONAL BASIS OF AUTHENTIC IDENTITY

The article explores the metaphysics of patriotism, which is inextricably linked to the search for authentic identity. The phenomenon of patriotism is analyzed on the basis of the works of Russian philosophers, representatives of the Russian Religious Renaissance. It is proved that their teachings substantiate and affirm the traditional values of the Russian world, conditioned by the mentality of our people and opposed to the cultural priorities of the Western community. A study of nationalism is conducted from both a negative and a positive point of view. The relevance of the patriotic ideas of Russian thinkers in the context of the 2014-2025 military confrontation is shown.
