DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A CI/CD DEVOPS PIPELINE FOR AUTOMATED AND CONTINUOUS SOFTWARE DEPLOYEMENT

Modern software delivery demands speed, reliability, and automation-goals effectively achieved through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This paper presents the design and implementation of a stream-lined DevOps pipeline that automates the end-to-end software lifecycle using Jenkins for orchestration, Docker for containerization, and Kubernetes for deployment and scaling.Cloud infrastructure is provisioned via AWS EC2, with Calico and Ingress-NGINX managing network and ingress resources. The pipeline integrates code quality analysis through SonarQube security scanning using Trivy and Kubernetes auditing with Kubeaudit.GitHub and Personal Access Tokens enable secure version control while Nexus handles artifact storage. To ensure observability, Prometheus, Node Exporter, and Blackbox Exporter monitor system health, with Grafana delivering real-time visual insights. This implementation enhances deployment speed, reduces manual effort, and improves overall software reliability, serving as a practical model for scalable DevOps automation.
