AMMONIA CONCENTRATION AS AN INDICATOR OF DRINKING WATER QUALITY-ANALYSIS OF SAMPLES FROM 2025.
The research was conducted at the Rea Lab laboratory during the first four months of 2025, with the aim of determining ammonia concentrations in drinking water. Samples of well water and bottled water were analyzed using a spectrophotometric method with Nessler's reagent. The highest levels of ammonia were detected in well water (up to 0.53 mg/L), while significantly lower concentrations were observed in bottled water. All values, except one, were within the limits prescribed by current regulations. The results indicate stable quality of bottled water and highlight the necessity of continuous monitoring of individual water sources.
