Economic Theories and Case Studies of High-Quality Development Strategies and Trade Protectionism in the Context of International Economic Crises
In recent years, international market competition has intensified significantly, marked by the frequent eruptions of trade wars, financial wars, tech wars, and tariff wars. Notably, the recent international tariff war initiated by the United States, under the guise of reciprocal tariff policies, has triggered intense turmoil in international economic relations. This event, rare and significant in historical context, underscores the necessity for an in-depth exploration of the underlying economic laws. Drawing from an integrated axiomatic system of value mechanics that incorporates classical economics, Marxist economics, and neoclassical economics, this study employs the theorem that the acceleration of product quantity is inversely proportional to product quality and the optimal theorem for value complex functions under holomorphic conditions – based on product quantity, quality, labor value, and use value – to deduce the general equilibrium equation of high-quality development. Utilizing this theoretical framework, the study analyzes various forms of tariff war cases, compares the pros and cons of different decision-making options, and explores the economic laws involved, ultimately aiming to identify the optimal solutions.
