Automated Resume Parsing and Candidate Profiling System for Efficient Talent Acquisition
In an age where digital transformation is reshaping countless industries, the recruitment process has seen a shift towards automation as organizations grapple with vast volumes of candidate data. Traditional methods of resume review are becoming less feasible in the face of this digital wave, creating a pressing need for automated solutions that can replicate a human-like understanding of resume content. The "Resume Analyzer" system, introduced in this paper, utilizes the power of NLP++ to emulate a human-like understanding of resume content, significantly improving the precision of information extraction. Through the innovative use of zoning techniques and a hierarchical parse tree, the system efficiently categorizes and extracts crucial details, encompassing contact information, educational and professional credentials, and language proficiencies. The obtained information is then methodically organized inside a Knowledge Base (KB) and subsequently transformed into Extensible Markup Language (XML) format for use with Enterprise control language (ECL), a declarative language for the distributed platform - HPCC Systems. The resulting records offer an efficient means of querying and matching candidates to organizational requirements, simplifying the analysis of a large volume of resumes and harnessing the capabilities of HPCC Systems. This approach's distinction lies in its reliance on general text analysis rules rather than language models, offering a robust and scalable solution for the accurate processing of resumes while harnessing the full potential of HPCC Systems.
