Smart Assistive Platform for the Visually Impaired

Our project aims to enhance web accessibility for visually impaired people by developing an educational platform with an integrated virtual assistant. This application helps the visually impaired students to read the content and access the website without any third-party help. The virtual assistant helps users explore the website efficiently, provides explanations of concepts, and assists with on-site navigation. In addition, this virtual assistant allows the users to retrieve the real-time information beyond the website. This feature helps the visually impaired students to access the current global information effortlessly. Additionally, this platform ensures independent learning by implementing the text-to-speech conversion to read the educational content and also the content beyond the website. By integrating these features, our project expands digital accessibility, empowering visually impaired students to explore educational materials and stay informed with ease.
