High Gain Voltage Multiplier-based Multi-Port Interleaved Converter for PV System
A high-gain Multi-Port Interleaved Boost Converter (MP-IBC) based on a voltage multiplier is presented for a front-end solar system. A multi-port interleaved high boost DC-DC converter achieves significant voltage amplification using a voltage multiplier module, without necessitating an excessive duty cycle. By using the proposed MP-IBC, the multiple DC sources can be interfaced with the DC link. the methodology encompasses the design and simulation of the MP-IBC, including their selection of components for the converter which includes size and component quality for the MP-IBC and implement of voltage multiplier cell for IBC the converted output is show in MATLAB/Simulink give as an maximum efficiency of 96.8% During the first phase, an IBC is included to get a significantly greater voltage conversion ratio. The two-phase architecture helps to lessen the ripple in the input current along with the current stress that is placed on each power switch through its implementation. In addition, the converter that is being suggested turns as an active clamp circuit, which helps to reduce the considerable voltage spikes that occur across the power switches. As a consequence of this, MOSFETs that have low voltage ratings have to be utilized to cut down on conduction expenses and losses. Efficiency is improved by bringing the energy held in leaky inductances back to the terminal responsible for output energy. The simulated circuit in MATLAB is controlled using a voltage of 48 V to create a voltage of 600 V. This is done to validate the circuit’s operation. It is possible to obtain an efficiency of 96.8%. The proposed multi-port interleaved high boost DC-DC converter offers higher boost gain than the other boost converter.
