This study analyzed data from 45,391 Korean adults (2013)(2014)(2015)(2016)(2017)(2018)(2019)(2020)(2021) to investigate diet quality trends and how they differ based on chronic disease diagnoses, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.Diet quality, measured by the Korean Healthy Eating Index (KHEI), declined from 2013-2019 but increased in 2020-2021, with a significant shift during the pandemic.Individuals diagnosed with hypertension, type 2 diabetes, or dyslipidemia had higher KHEI scores, and this disparity widened during the pandemic, suggesting increased dietary attention among those aware of their conditions. Epidemiology of Femoroacetabular Impingement inKorea.Park JW, et al.This study examined the prevalence, treatment patterns, and costs of femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) in South Korea using nationwide claims data from 2013-2022.Among 39,620 FAI patients, the total number significantly increased from 2,721 in 2013 to 5,196 in 2022, with an annual age-adjusted prevalence increase of 7.14%.Despite this rise, the proportion of patients undergoing surgical treatment decreased from 11.1% to 5.4%.Total medical costs for FAI also increased for both men and women.
