Follicular Bronchiolitis in Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory disorder with articular and extra-articular involvement. Pulmonary involvement is common in RA, mainly pleurisy, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary nodules, Caplan’s syndrome, and vasculitis. Follicular bronchiolitis (FB) is a rare disorder that occurs due to the proliferation of bronchial lymph node tissue associated with connective tissue diseases, immunosuppression, or idiopathic. We report a case of FB in a known case of RA with a good outcome on therapy.
