Pengendalian Persediaan Material Distribusi Utama (Mdu) Di Pt Pln Up3 Mempawah Dengan Fsn-Xyz Dan Analisis Resiko

Main Distribution Material (MDU) as a support for PLN in serving the community in the electricity sector to fulfil requests for New Installations and Power Changes. In inventory management, proper planning of requirements is necessary to minimise excess and/or shortage of materials. Excess inventory will increase storage costs and the risk of material damage. Meanwhile, material shortages will hamper the company's business processes which have an impact on the company's revenue. Inaccurate calculation of MDU inventory parameters, especially for PB and PD because it has not considered the uncertainty factor in demand so that MDU often occurs stockout or overstock. Effective material inventory control is very important for the operational continuity of PT PLN Persero UP3 Mempawah. This research aims to optimize the inventory control of main distribution materials by combining the FSN-XYZ method and FMEA and FMECA risk analysis. The FSN-XYZ method is used to group materials based on demand patterns, while FMEA and FMECA help in identifying and analyzing risks that may affect material availability.
