Research on the Optimized Application of New Textbook Sections in Junior High School English and Strategies for Cultivating Students' Pragmatic Ability —Take the new junior high school English textbook for Grade 7, Vol-ume 1 of the People's Education

English teaching materials are not only the basic resources for students to learn English, but also the core basis for teachers to design and implement teaching activities. The new junior high school English textbooks of the People's Education Edition feature "integrating the six elements of the curriculum content throughout the unit design", "combining unit goal orientation with re-flection to promote autonomous learning", and "fusing Chinese and foreign cultures to cultivate the awareness of a community with a shared future for mankind".
