This study comprehensively analyzed the loneliness of the elderly from multiple dimensions and found that the current situation is severe, presenting the characteristics of interwoven social and emotional loneliness, obvious group differences and dynamic changes. Explore the causes in depth from aspects such as individuals, families, society and the digital divide. Individual factors include physical decline, psychological changes and personality traits. Family factors involve structural and functional changes, marital status and intergenerational relationships; Social factors include an imperfect support system, a poor community environment and changes in cultural concepts; The factor of the digital divide is manifested as the difficulty in using digital technologies. To this end, systematic relief paths are proposed, such as enhancing the self-adjustment ability of the elderly, strengthening the family support function, improving the social support system, and promoting digital integration, etc. Solving the problem of loneliness among the elderly requires the collaboration of multiple parties. In the future, the effects of intervention measures should be further studied, special groups should be paid attention to, and interdisciplinary research should be strengthened to improve coping strategies and enhance the quality of life of the elderly.
