On the profile of Brazilian Portuguese grammar in the 20th century
This work deals with the concept of grammar in Brazil in the 20th century, with special attention to its theological role, the nature of its corpus and the limits imposed on the task of describing the language system in relation to other factors such as variations in language use and style. The study also presents a typological classification of Brazilian-Portuguese grammars throughout the century, based on their profile, their theoretical sources and the corpora they use in their linguistic descriptions.
