La traduction en espéranto du CLG

The aim of this text is to briefly present the editorial history that led to the publication of the Cours de linguistique générale (CLG) in Esperanto. Here is the opinion of its translator, Fernando Pita, as well as that of the publishing house LF-koop, represented by Alessio Giordano, author of the preface to the Esperanto edition. This scientific endeavour originates from the desire to prove what has already been tested: the ability of Esperanto to convey notions, thoughts, and concepts on par with any other ethnic language. It also aims to bring Esperanto studies and linguistics closer, in order to more closely conjoin two fields of study that have not necessarily always overlapped.
