SUCCESSFUL PRACTICES OF ENERGY INDEPENDENCE OF TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES

The study examines the role of territorial communities in achieving energy independence through the implementation of renewable energy sources at the local level. Successful international examples (Germany, France, Denmark, New Zealand) and the experience of Ukrainian communities using solar, wind, bioenergy and energy-efficient technologies are analyzed. The importance of institutional support, partnership and community participation for achieving sustainable results is emphasized. The study proves that the development of RES is a key tool for increasing community resilience and an element of national security.
