VIOLÊNCIA SEXUAL DE CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES NO ÂMBITO INTRAFAMILIAR: A EFETIVIDADE DA LEGISLAÇÃO BRASILEIRA NA IDENTIFICAÇÃO
This article analyzes the factors that hinder the early identification of intrafamilial sexual violence against children and adolescents, as well as evaluates the effectiveness of Brazilian legislation in protecting victims. Based on a qualitative approach, through bibliographic and documentary research, the study examines social, psychological, and cultural aspects that contribute to the concealment of abuse and discusses the limitations and potential of current legislation. The analysis indicates that, although Brazil has a robust legal framework aimed at the comprehensive protection of children and adolescents, structural, institutional, and cultural challenges still undermine the effectiveness of public policies. It is concluded that overcoming these obstacles requires strengthening support networks, continuous professional training, and expanding civil society awareness strategies, with a focus on prevention and effective intervention.
