MODERNIZATION OF THE PROCESS OF SOWING FOREST SEEDS WITH THE HELP OF A NEW COULTER SAWMILL SEEDER FOR BROADBAND SOWING OF FOREST SEEDS IN NURSERIES OF THE FOREST STEPPE ZONE

The article examines the problems of the existing technology of sowing forest seeds in nurseries of the forest-steppe zone and substantiates the need to modernize the seeding process. The design of a new coulter for a nursery seeder designed for broadband sowing of forest seeds is presented. The results of field tests of a prototype coulter are described, which showed an improvement in germination and seedling quality compared with traditional sowing methods.
