A STAND FOR EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE PROCESS OF PRUNING BRANCHES WITH A PULSE HARVESTER HEAD
The article describes the development of a mechanism for dragging a cyclic harvester head in the process of pruning branches of coniferous and deciduous trees of simple and complex shapes. The known harvester heads are not effective enough for processing such trees in difficult climatic conditions. To solve these problems, designs of feeding mechanisms are required to solve the tasks set. At this stage, modeling has been performed and the feeding and shearing mechanisms have been assembled. This installation will be used for experimental studies of chipless cutting of tree branches with various variable factors. The work was carried out within the framework of the scientific school "Innovative developments in the field of the logging industry and forestry".
