Simulation of Electromagnetic Field of Electrical Conductor Materials in Wireless Charging Device Using 3D Finite Element Method
This study presents the simulation of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) in electrical conductor materials to optimize wireless charging device (WCD) designs. By utilizing the 3D Finite Element Method (3D FEM) integrated with MATLAB and SolidWorks, the research examines the EMF characteristics of materials such as silver, copper, aluminum, and ferrite under specific conditions. Key parameters like conductivity and magnetic permeability have been analyzed to determine their influence on EMF efficiency. Six case studies have been conducted, varying the combinations of transmitter and receiver coil and core materials. The results reveal that materials with lower conductivity and higher magnetic permeability, such as ferrite, achieve superior EMF performance. This study provides valuable insights into material selection for enhancing the efficiency of WCDs, particularly for electric vehicle applications.
