Unmanned intelligent vehicle for multifunctional integrated platform design in natural gas pipeline maintenance
The current natural gas pipeline inspection work is time-consuming and labor-intensive, with safety risks, urgently requiring efficient and automated solutions. This paper proposes an unmanned intelligent vehicle platform integrated with high-definition cameras, laser gas detection, autonomous obstacle avoidance, and navigation functions. This multifunctional integrated platform aims to enhance patrol efficiency through real-time monitoring and data transmission, and to quickly and accurately identify potential leakage points using advanced gas sensor technology; at the same time, the comprehensive perception system equipped on the vehicle ensures autonomous and safe driving in complex environments, thereby greatly improving the level of automation and safety in maintenance work. Experimental validation shows that the designed unmanned intelligent vehicle not only effectively solves the problems of traditional detection methods but also provides strong technical support for the safe operation of natural gas pipelines.
