Analysis of the impact of competitive passenger flow structure on network phase change

Route network optimization is a core component of intelligent transportation systems, which can not only improve the efficiency and safety of air transportation, but also reduce costs and environmental impacts, and lay the foundation for innovation in future transportation modes. Air transportation, as one of the modes of transportation, route network planning belongs to the strategic level planning of airlines. It is the foundation of tactical level planning such as flight planning, maintenance planning, and crew scheduling, and determines the operational level planning of airlines such as aircraft maintenance planning and abnormal scheduling. Route network planning and design are constrained by various factors such as passenger behavior and airline behavior in the market and belong to unstructured decision-making problems. Route network design requires the collection of multiple data, and the feasibility of obtaining all indicators is very low. Therefore, this article combines relevant theories of economics and operations research and uses simulation optimization methods to study the changes in profits of large-scale and scale-free airline networks under the constraints of relevant parameters and passenger flow. From the perspective of complex networks, the evolution mechanism and operational characteristics of airline networks are studied, which not only finds the direction for researching airline network optimization design, but also can be used for empirical research, and has important practical promotion value. With the advancement of technology, route network optimization will continue to drive the aviation industry towards a smarter and more sustainable direction.
