Smart Oasis: intelligent desk system based on STM32

The Smart Oasis intelligent desk system, powered by the STM32 microcontroller, integrates BH1750 optical light sensors, environmental monitoring modules, and posture detection technologies to provide precise height adjustment, dynamic environmental regulation, and real-time posture correction for educational and professional applications. The BH1750 light sensor ensures optimal light intensity between 300-400 lux by dynamically adjusting LED brightness using an advanced pulse-width modulation (PWM) control algorithm. Coupled with the DS18B20 temperature sensor, the system maintains ambient temperatures below 28°C through dynamic fan activation, creating an intelligent and comfortable living environment. The posture detection subsystem, based on an FSR402 pressure sensor array, achieves a 90% accuracy rate in identifying incorrect postures and provides immediate feedback within one to two seconds to encourage user correction. Coordinated by STM32, the system leverages data fusion and adaptive algorithms to enhance responsiveness and reliability. Experimental results confirm the system’s ability to optimize user comfort and health with high precision and efficiency, highlighting the potential of optical sensing and intelligent algorithms in advancing smart and ergonomic furniture applications.
