Analisis Model Regresi Linier Sederhana Pada Perolehan Sortimen Kayu Rakyat Jenis Mahoni (Swietenia macrophylla, King) Berdasarkan Lingkar Pohon

This study aims to improve the accuracy of estimating Mahogany wood cubication in community forests. Using descriptive method and correlation design, data were collected for six months in Baok Village and Cipari Village, Kuningan Regency. Through simple linear regression analysis, a significant positive relationship was found between tree circumference and Mahogany wood sortiment cubication. The prediction equation for wood sorting cubication was y = -0.557 + 0.008x, with a coefficient of determination of 67.8%. Hypothesis testing confirmed the significance of the relationship (0.000 < 0.05). The conclusion of this study contributes to the development of a Mahogany tree volume estimator tool to support community forest management. This model in the field is expected to help farmers estimate wood cubication accurately, increase income, and support the sustainability of the regional timber industry. Recommendations include adding factors to the model, such as variations in branch volume, to improve the accuracy of wood cubication predictions. Keywords: Community Forest, Swietenia macrophylla, Estimation of wood cubication.
