SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT IN NETWORK ORGANIZATIONS: ADAPTATION TO DEMAND VARIABILITY

In the context of highly volatile market demand, digitalization and growing external risks (pandemics, sanctions, shortages), supply chain management (SCM) in network organizations requires a revision of traditional models and the implementation of adaptive strategies. The purpose of the article is to analyze how network companies build adaptive supply chains, how they respond to fluctuations in demand, and what digital tools contribute to the sustainable development of these processes. The article analyzes domestic and international experience in the formation of flexible, sustainable logistics systems using digital technologies, forecasting and cooperation models. The classification of adaptive SCM strategies based on empirical cases and publications of recent years is presented. Examples from various countries and industries are presented, demonstrating the use of such solutions as digital twins, interaction on various platforms, joint planning (CPFR), intelligent logistics hubs. A matrix of strategies on the flexibility-resilience scale is formed, and adaptation tools relevant for modern network companies are summarized. A conclusion is made about the need for an integrated approach to management: technological, organizational and strategic. The presented findings can be used in the practical activities of distribution and production networks seeking to increase the sustainability and flexibility of supplies.
