The article examines the role of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the Russian Federation and their impact on the military-industrial complex. The authors conducted an analysis of the activities of micro, small and medium-sized businesses in the country, which revealed their growth trend. The paper presents the structure of the Russian military-industrial complex and reveals the place of micro and small businesses in this complex. This helped to identify the specifics and develop proposals and recommendations for the activities of micro and small businesses in the militaryindustrial complex of the Russian Federation.
