Analysis of Triple Comparison Monitor for Civil Aircraft Flight Control System Based on Simulator Verification

The fly-by-wire flight control system is a vital component of contemporary aircraft, with its stability and reliability being intrinsically linked to flight safety. In these systems, sensors are tasked with gathering diverse state information from the aircraft, such as velocity, angle, pressure, etc., and relaying this data to the flight control computer. Given that sensor failures can precipitate severe repercussions, the implementation of redundant sensor technology is prevalent to augment system availability and integrity, thereby ensuring signal veracity and continuity. Triple redundancy represents a typical redundant configuration. This paper offers an exhaustive analysis of triple redundant signals and introduces a novel comparison monitoring algorithm designed to further enhance signal processing precision and system fault tolerance. The proposed comparison monitoring algorithm encompasses several pivotal steps: comparison detection, average voting, fault counting, and fault latch. By employing this algorithm, the integrity of signal processing can be significantly improved, mitigating misjudgments and risks stemming from sensor failures. The proposed comparison monitoring algorithm not only bolsters the reliability and safety of fly-by-wire flight control systems but also furnishes invaluable references and guidance for scholars and engineers in pertinent fields.
