Sound Source Localization of an Aircraft Cabin Using Probability Beamforming
This article elaborates on the principle of traditional beamforming sound source localization methods and their limitations in the application of enclosed reverberation spaces in aircraft cabins. On this basis, a probabilistic beamforming sound source localization method is proposed. This improved method introduces the concept of probability to distinguish between real and fake sound sources, improving the accuracy of sound source localization. Experiments were conducted in an airplane environment, and multiple microphone array synchronization methods were introduced in the experiments. The results indicate that the proposed method has more accurate positioning and recognition capabilities, which can provide assistance for acoustic design and abnormal sound detection work.
